AMM CUSTOM ALLOY TRAILER
The Owner of this AMM Custom Alloy trailer was more than happy with his boat trailer but wanted to upgrade some of the fittings as he mainly uses the Boat and Trailer on Fraser Island.
First we removed the old Hydrastar brake unit and fitted it with a brand new AL-KO IQ7 Brake Actuator complete with Custom Aluminium Mount exactly were the customer wanted it. We also fitted a new AL-KO Swing Up Stand to replace to old jockey wheel.
The main job for this trailer was manufacturing brand new 50mm square solid axles with dexter 6000lb bearing profiles and fitting Deemaxx Stainless Steel Brake Rotors, Deemaxx Stainless Steel Brake Calipers with Stainless Steel Backed Brake Pads as well as 63mm Stainless Steel Bearing Buddies.
These were specifically requested by the customer to handle the harsh conditions found on Fraser Island
The Spring also need attention so we removed the old suspension and made new hangers and fitted Roller Rocker Springs to give it a great ride over the sand dunes on Fraser
AMERICAN YACHT TRAILER
This American Yacht Trailer was imported from the US and need to be complied to Australian Standards. It came with 8 Stud Drum Brakes that did not work so we converted it to 8 Stud Disc Brakes with Deemaxx 8 Stud Gal Hubs, 13 Inch Slip Over Disc Rotors and Deemaxx Hydraulic Brake Calipers which was a complete bolt on option no welding required.
Next we have to change the coupling as it did not comply so we mounted a 2000kg rated 50mm Ball Coupling with a 7/8 Master Cylinder and New Stainless Steel Flexible Brake Lines.
As this trailer was from America the lights did not comply as they use a different combination of colours and positions. We made a Aluminium mounting bar across the back of the trailer and mounted new LED Lights as well as new plug and play cabling.

KEVLACAT ALLOY TRAILER
This trailer came to us on a tilt tray after it had broken an axle. The customer decided he would like to replace both axles so we contacted our friends from AL-KO Australia about some new axles.
We decide with 2x New 1500kg rated AL-KO IRS Torsion Axles which they custom made for us by adding in 50mm into the bolt on bracket so we could remove the old rusted out steel frame that they use to be bolted which spaced the axle from the frame giving the boat clearance from the mudguard. We also fitted new AL-KO galvanised brake discs and hydraulic calipers.
We also fitted new checkerplate aluminium mudguards and a new set 13 Inch Alloy Wheels with 165x13 LT Tyres
AMM 6.5M ALLOY TRAILER
This AMM Aluminium Trailer came to us with a non functioning Hydraulic brake actuated so we fitted a new AL-KO IQ7 Brake Actuator which meant we could get rid of the breakaway battery as well as the breakaway switch due to AL-KO IQ7 being air operated internally there is no need for breakaway switch and battery.
EASYTOW SKI BOAT TRAILER
This Easytow trailer originally was built for freshwater use and came with drum brakes. The owner now uses it in saltwater and was sick of constantly replacing brake components so we removed the drum brakes and fitted new galvanised hubs with ford bearings, Deemaxx 10 inch slip over vented rotors and Deemaxx hydraulic brake calipers. So now he will not only get much longer life from his brakes but much better performance from the vented disc brakes.

SEADOO JETBOAT TRAILER
This Seadoo Jetboat trailer came to us in need of some serious TLC. The brake discs and calipers were rusted beyond repair and the steel brake lines were a mess.
We first removed all of the rusted hardware then went about fitting new Deemaxx 10 Inch Vented Brake Discs with Dexter 1.8T Bearings, New Deemaxx brake calipers as well as new flexible stainless steel brake lines go give this trailer a new lease on life.
CUSTOM SKI BOAT TRAILER
This Ski Boat Trailer came to us after being in an accident which had damaged the drawbar. We cut out the old drawbar and replaced it with a new peice of 75x75x4mm material.
While we were replacing the drawbar the customer also decided he would like a swing around bracket to make it easier to fit in his garage so we fitted a Fulton Swing Around Bracket which is rated for 2000kg.
QUINTREX ALUMINIUM TRAILER
This customer had just purchased a new Boat, Motor and trailer package but found out afet he purchased it that wouldn't fit in his garage. We fitted a Fulton Bolt On Swing Around Bracket which gave him the space he need to get his new boat safety inside his garage.
Also fitted was a second jockey wheel mounted on the trailer frame to take the weight when the drawbar was swung around.
